Head Coach David Herman
Dave Herman is returning to Francis Parker School as the new Varsity Head Coach. Coach Dave was an assistant varsity coach last year under Louis Bevilacqua, working as the Defensive Coordinator. Prior to coming to Parker, he was a head coach in the Tucson Unified School District. Coach Dave grew up in West Chester, PA and played midfield for Eric Bergofsky and Bill Glennon at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire. He took a break from lacrosse to earn his B.S. from Trinity College and his Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Arizona in 2006, but returned to the sport he loves to lead the program at Parker.
Eric Sullivan - Varisty Assistant Coach
Erik Sullivan comes to Francis Parker School after serving as the assistant lacrosse coach at division I Wagner College located in New York City. He spent two years at Wagner coaching the offense and goalies. Coach Sullivan played his collegiate lacrosse at Nazareth College. He played for four years and was captain of his team his senior year. Erik hails from Syracuse, New York. Coach Sullivan now resides in San Diego, where he is a special education teacher at Hoover High School.
Dave Cohn - Varsity Assistant Coach
David Cohn, grew up in Cockeysville, MD and attended high school at the
Gilman School in Baltimore, MD where he was a three sport athlete in
football, basketball, and lacrosse. Coach Cohn was recruited to play
lacrosse for the United States Naval Academy and played attack for the
Midshipmen for four years. As a member team from 2004 to 2007 he help them
to four NCAA Division I Tournaments advancing to the first round in 2007,
quarter finals in 2005 and 2006 and the National Championship game in 2004.
Coach Cohn is currently serving in the US Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer.
Scott Zaremba –JV Head Coach
Scott Zaremba is from Manhasset Long Island where he played highschool lacrosse with Coach White. A transfer student from Nassau CC, New York, Coach Zaremba has been attending the University of San Diego for just over two years, expecting to graduate in January of 2008. While at Nassau, Zaremba specialized as a face-off and defensive midfielder. Over the two years under Coach Richard Speckman, Zaremba recovered over 200 ground balls and a won almost 70% of his face-offs. He led the team as a Captain his second year to the semi-finals of the NJCAA for the team’s second year in a row.
